a playwright & actor & mama’s boy. My plays have been developed or recognized by Page 73, the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, Working Theater, Noor Theater,Theater Masters, the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and the American Blues Theater. I was a 2025 MacDowell Fellow and Yaddo Resident Artist, and the 2025 winner of the NYFA / Ryan Hudak Award for dramatic writing. My work explores memory, migration, violence, queerness, divas, and my Arab, Irish and Jewish heritage.
I completed my MFA in the Dramatic Writing department at NYU Tisch School of the Arts (‘23) and received my B.A. from Harvard University (‘20) in History & Literature, with a focus on the Arab world.
In addition to my creative work, I am an arts educator, as well as a member of the SWANA Writer’s Co-Op and a Planet Fitness that I’ve never been to.
